Fantastic day in the national park I did a one day hiking tour of Peneda Gerês with National Park Tours and it was fantastic. My guide, Carlos, was great. He knew everything about the park and I learned a lot. He also took me to a lot of spots that I wouldn't have found on my own. National Park Tours was also very accommodating of my request to pick me up in Ponte de Lima and drop me off in Porto at the end of the day. My only regret was not booking a multi-day trip with National Park Tours. Next time!

Great way of spending half a day in Geres Me and my husband we are on a 6 weeks vacation in Portugal Today we booked a 4 hours hike with Samuel but we were too tired to walk so we decided to cancel But Samuel offered to drive us around and show us some beautiful views and interesting spots like the Roman road and milestones It was gorgeous Samuel is kind, knowledgeable, caring and very passionate about what he is doing Great day

The best way to see Pineda Geres Natinal Park We spent two amazing days in the park with Carlos leading us on gorgeous hikes, identifying wildflowers, pointing out wildlife, and sharing a wide variety of cultural, and historical information not only about the park, but about Portugal as well. He took us on unforgettable scenic drives, and introduced us to local cuisine when we stopped for lunches. Our time in the park was so much more rewarding and enriching having Carlos as our guide

Pineda Geres National Park Samuel from the National park office patiently organized 2 days of hiking and touring all over Penedas Geres National Park. Carlos was our very well versed, wildflower expert and professional guide. The hikes were beautiful! We learned a lot about Portugal and the park. We ate traditional Portuguese lunches and took very scenic drives. A great experience!

14 day Private Tour of Northern Portugal This company came highly recommended by friends who had travelled to northern Portugal with another company but spent one day in Peneda-Gerês National Park with Samuel. After exploring several options for a tour of northern Portugal we (2 couples) decided to book a 14 day tour with Samuel. He planned a fantastic trip taking into account our interests and requests. This is the area where he and Carlos (the other guide for the company) were born and as a result know it well and they were fabulous guides. We visited a range of areas from little known places to UNESCO World Heritage sites seeing wonderful birds, plants, animals, archeological sites, vineyards and wineries, castles, palaces, monasteries, churches and farms. The itinerary allowed us a couple of days to relax and do things on our own as well. The guesthouses we stayed in and the meals they provided were superb. It is difficult to choose but if I had to pick one highlight it would be seeing the 30,000 year old rock art in the Coa Valley. The whole trip was fantastic!

A great trip to Northern Portugal We spent 3 days in Porto wandering the old part of the city and visiting the Port companies in Vila Nova de Gaia. Then 10 days touring the local area. Our guide organized everything. We visited the national park, saw medieval forts, castles and churches, did tours and tastings in the Douro Valley, and archeological sites in the Coa Valley. Our guides Samuel and Carlos were professional and knowledgeable and always gave extra effort to show us the features and history of. The regions we explored. The food was fantastic and the hotels were amazing. One of the best trips ever.
